Tective will be collaborating with the PCVPL (Centre for Precision Farming Applications) in Reusel, the Netherlands in the context of a REACT EU project. The goal of the SkyHive Agro project is to demonstrate the feasibility of providing autonomous surveying data for up to 300ha once per week for Van Den Borne potatoes. Long term, Tective aims to be able to cover an area of about 100km2 around the Reusel SkyHive, potentially providing several hundred farmers in the region with high quality sensor data. As the service expands, so will costs, creating a large addressable market.

Pilot flights are expected to commence this year, with autonomous operation of the SkyHive starting in the spring of 2022.
